The Gardens Foundation centers our focus around one burning question that drives our entire mission…

What Is Smart?

The word "smart" is a subjective term that can be difficult to define, as it can mean different things to different people. Some people might consider a person to be "smart" if they have a high IQ or excel in academics, while others might consider a person to be "smart" if they have strong social skills or are good at problem-solving.

In the context of personalized learning for early childhood age learners, it is important to recognize that every child is unique and has their own strengths and areas for growth. Instead of focusing on whether a child is "smart" or not, personalized learning approaches aim to identify the individual needs, interests, and learning styles of each child and tailor the learning experience to meet those needs. This approach recognizes that all children are capable of learning and growth, and it focuses on supporting their individual development rather than comparing them to a fixed idea of what it means to be "smart."

The Gardens Foundation is dedicated to research in the area of personalized learning for early childhood age learners because we believe that every child is unique and has their own strengths and areas for growth. We recognize that the traditional concept of intelligence, as measured by IQ or academic achievement, does not capture the full range of abilities that children possess. That is why we are committed to conducting research that explores and quantifies the many different intelligences that children may possess, including those that may not be considered the "norm" by traditional standards. By doing so, we aim to support the individual development of all children and to create learning experiences that are tailored to their unique needs and abilities. We believe that this approach will help to foster a love of learning and to unlock the full potential of every child.

A Broad Approach To Learning..

At The Gardens Foundation, we believe that every child is unique and that they learn in different ways. That's why we are committed to providing a broad and inclusive approach to education that meets the needs of all learners.

Whether a child learns best through hands-on experiences, visual aids, or auditory instruction, we believe that it is important to offer a range of teaching methods and resources to support their learning. By offering a diverse and flexible approach to education, we can help ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We recognize that every child is different, and that one size does not fit all when it comes to education. That's why we are dedicated to working with educators and families to create personalized learning experiences that meet the individual needs of each child.

At The Gardens Foundation, we believe that all children deserve the chance to thrive, and we are committed to providing the support and resources needed to make that happen.
